HOW TO CHANGE THE SWAP TANK FRONT COVER PLATE

Step 1

(a) Remove all the screws on the base plate circled in red.
(b) Remove the nut and quick connect that the hose attaches to circled in red.
(c) Remove bottom plate.

Step 2

Seperate the connectors from the front plate to the pump. They will be covered in black heat shrink so you will need to remove the heat shrink. MAKE SURE TO TAKE NOTE OF WHERE THE GROUND AND POSITIVE WIRES CONNECT TO PUMP AS THEY ARE NOT COLOUR CODED ON PUMP CONNECTIONS.

Step 3

Remove the screws on the front plate circled below in red.

Remove the front plate

Step 5

Attach the replacement front plate, make sure to feed the wires from the front plate into the base as circled below.

Step 6

Connect the wires to the pump, then cover with heat shrink or electrical tape.

Step 7

Tuck the wires away so they don’t get caught when attaching the base.

Step 8

Attach the base cover back onto the base and re fit the quick connect. MAKE SURE NOT TO DO THE BOLT UP TO TIGHT, KEEP AN EYE ON THE PLASTIC BASE SO THAT IT IS NOT BEING DEFORMED FROM THE BOLTS CLAMPING FORCE.
